This Roadblocks course is one of the six Public Safety role specific self study courses H2Safety has developed to assist responders that may have to fill the role of, or fill the roles reporting to, the Public Safety Group Supervisor. Roadblocks control traffic on highways, roads, or streets in order to prevent the public from entering the hazard area. Roadblocks are an important part of public safety and are designed to both notify and protect the public from any dangers or hazards.
This Rovers course is one of the six Public Safety role specific self study courses H2Safety has developed to assist responders that may have to fill the role of, or fill the roles reporting to, the Public Safety Group Supervisor. Rovers are responsible for patrolling the hazard area to locate and notify residents, businesses, industrial operators, transients (such as hunters, trappers, recreational users and non-resident landowners), and the general public.
This Staging Area Manager course is one of the self study role specific ICS based courses H2Safety has developed and it is designed to assist responders that may have to fill the role of the Staging Area Manager. The Staging Area is the location where resources are placed while awaiting a tactical assignment. The Staging Area Manager is responsible for all activities within the Staging Area.
This Telephoner course is one of the six Public Safety role specific self study courses H2Safety has developed to assist responders that may have to fill the role of, or fill the roles reporting to, the Public Safety Group Supervisor. Telephoners are used to notify individuals during an emergency to relay public safety measures, either to shelter-in-place or evacuate the area, and to provide them with directions to the designated Reception Centre if evacuation is required.
